We may collect information you provide to us, including your name, phone number, email address, property address, project details, photographs, and information you include in an inquiry, estimate request, contract, or other communication.
If you communicate with us by text or agree to receive texts, we may maintain records of those communications, your messaging preferences, how and when you provided consent where applicable, and any opt-out requests.
Our website and its service providers may automatically collect technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and general website usage information through cookies, server logs, or similar technologies.
When you pay electronically, you enter payment details through a third-party payment processor. We do not directly collect or store your full payment card number.
How we use information

We may also send promotional text messages through a separate messaging number to people who have agreed to receive them. A customer’s service inquiry or text to our Grasshopper number does not, by itself, enroll that customer in promotional texting.
Service-related text conversations
Customers may text our Grasshopper business number to inquire about our services. We use that number to reply individually and continue conversations relevant to their requests. We do not use the Grasshopper number to send promotional text campaigns. Message frequency depends on the conversation. Message and data rates may apply.
To stop receiving texts from that number, reply STOP to a message from it. For assistance, reply HELP or email info@bayarearoofingexperts.com.
Promotional text messages
We may send promotional texts from a separate number to people who have agreed to receive them. The consent process, message frequency, and opt-out instructions for those messages are provided when a person signs up and in the messages themselves. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to promotional texts is not required to purchase our services.
To stop promotional texts, follow the opt-out instructions in a promotional message, including replying STOP to the number that sent it. You may also email info@bayarearoofingexperts.com to request that we stop texting you. Because our service and promotional messages use different systems, an opt-out sent to one number may not automatically update the other.
How we disclose information
We do not sell or rent customer contact information or provide it to other businesses for their independent marketing. We do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Companies that help us operate our business, including website hosts, communications and messaging providers, invoicing systems, and payment processors, may process information as needed to provide services on our behalf. A payment processor receives payment information you submit through its payment system. Our subcontractors work through us; we do not give them customer contact information for independent solicitation. We may provide a subcontractor with project information reasonably needed to perform assigned work.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a business transaction such as a sale or reorganization. These circumstances do not authorize recipients to use SMS consent information for their own marketing.
